You and your staff, if applicable, will complete the writing and editing first draft or final resumes, cover letters and related career materials.

  • Successful freelance writers will have a strong advertising, marketing, sales, promotions and/or technical writing background and experience editing and writing career related materials. Strong time management skills required.
  • Certified resume writers or experience in writing resumes and cover letters preferred but not required. Expertise in Word required. Editors/Writers may be awarded jobs on weekdays or weekends, many times with short turn-around time requirements.
  • You must use your own computers, software, and related materials.
  • According to the industry information, the effective per job hourly rate usually varies between $20 to $35 per hour. The majority of contracts are offered on a flat rate for a finished product rather than an hourly amount.
